Dear Parents and Guardians,
It was great to see many of you at our Sunday mass this weekend. Seeing the children accompanied by you the parent is a wonderful thing to encounter. Many children around the U.S. don’t have the opportunity to speak about God to their parents let alone have the opportunity to attend mass. Faith is passed down primarily through the parents and it is in these kinds of interactions that your child gets to know about Christ. I still remember my mother making great efforts to make sure we attended mass every Sunday. We would have to take the bus and I would have to stand there as she counted her pennies to pay while everyone was waiting. Mama mia! It was these small things that she did that made a difference and helped me understand that the most important thing in life is to have a relationship with Christ. I pray that God continues to bless our community and that he gives us every opportunity to pass on the faith to your children.

We will be having Spirit Day once a month so look for our calendar so that you and your family can enjoy a day out and about while supporting your school. Bon Appetit!
