Welcome to the Fourth Grade Classroom Page!
Welcome to Grade 4’s Classroom page! My name is Mr. Eric Bray It is a great honor and blessing to be teaching here at St. Bernard Catholic School. I am an Alumni of St. Bernard class of 2000 and have been an active member of the Parish Community since 1986.
I am proud to share that I am a product of Catholic School education. Following my time at St. Bernard, I attended St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower for all four years and graduated in 2004. I continued my education at University of Phoenix and earned my B.S. in Psychology in 2011 and in the process of obtaining an M.Ed from National University.
Prior to teaching, I was a Youth Minister for 8 years including at St. Bernard Catholic Church. Influenced by this experience, I was encouraged to pursue a career in education. I firmly believe based on this experience, that each student is given an opportunity to receive not only a source of incredible Knowledge, but come to realize, his or her call to be “…Salt of the Earth…” and “…Light of the World…”. having been given a Salesian education I fully incorporate the Don Bosco Oratory Model of becoming a “Home, School, Church, and Playground”.
When I’m not teaching I enjoy spending time with my wife, family, and miniature schnauzer “Minnie”, visiting Disneyland (visited 332 so far in 2018), watching movies, collecting Star Wars action figures, playing my guitar, food, and listening to good music.
