Kindergarten

Welcome to the Kindergarten Classroom Page!

My name is Jacqueline Reyes and this will be my 12th year at St. Bernard School and my 6th year in Kindergarten. You might know me as the Preschool Director, but my first love is Kindergarten! My passion for Catholic Education started 18 years ago at Ascension Catholic School in Los Angeles. I attended Mount St. Mary’s College where I earned an AA in Early Childhood Education and a BA in Child Development. I earned my Masters in Education from California State University, Long Beach.

On my free time, I like spending time watching Netflix, reading, and baking. I am fortunate to have a twin sister who is my best friend. I feel blessed to be part of the St. Bernard family and look forward to providing our Kindergarten students with an Education where Christ is the center and where each student will have the opportunity to grow in all developmental areas.

Veteran’s Day

November 13, 2018 By Jacqueline Reyes

We had a special visitor in Kindergarten for Veteran’s Day on Friday, November 9th.  Staff Sergeant Gonzalez (Jeshua’s dad) visited our classroom to speak to us about being a Marine.  We thank Staff Sergeant Gonzalez and all of the Veterans for honoring and protecting our country.

We are proud to be Americans! God Bless the United States of America!

Dear Lord,
Today we honor our veterans,
worthy men and women
who gave their best
when they were called upon
to serve and protect their country.
We pray that you will bless them, Lord,
for their unselfish service
in the continual struggle
to preserve our freedoms, our safety,
and our country’s heritage, for all of us. Amen
