The St. Bernard School dress code is designed to foster modesty, good grooming, respect, and personal responsibility. A neat and appropriate appearance contributes to a positive academic environment where students can focus on developing their God-given gifts and building strong Christian character.
Students are expected to arrive at school each day clean, neat, and wearing the complete approved school uniform.

- Uniform clothing must be clean, in good condition, and free of holes, tears, or stains.
- Clothing should fit appropriately and be proportionate to the student's body size. Clothing that is excessively tight, oversized, or improperly fitted is not permitted.
- Tattoos, whether permanent or temporary, are not permitted.
- Fingernails must be clean, neatly trimmed, and maintained in a manner appropriate for school.
- To assist with lost-and-found items, families should clearly label all uniforms, sweaters, jackets, lunch boxes, and other personal belongings with the student's name.
